Gay Rights on Both Sides of the Atlantic

American media is currently full of news about the landmark case before the Supreme Court regarding the Defense of Marriage Act and gay rights. 

Across the Atlantic, the French are grappling with similar civil rights issues. This Saturday, 300,000 persons marched in Paris against a "marriage for everyone" bill. The protestors clashed with police, leading to tear gas and arrests.

Americans might be interested to know that protestors and supporters in France are using the same rhetoric as their American counterparts.
